This work aims to challenge the notion often proposed, that our world has become a bombardment of imagery and advertisement that is ultimately meaningless and mere simulation.

What is proposed instead is that individuals groove their own paths through this hyperreality, to select and utilise pieces in the understanding and construction of their own identities.

The participants shown here are individuals that found something of themselves in the window display of their selection.
